Runtime idle

Play, host, and create in your browser.

No installs. One shared WebAssembly runtime powers the Player, the hosting Server, and Studio.

Join a session

Connect to a hosted WebSocket server, or enter a nine-digit browser-host code.

P2P rides on top of WebSocket. Both transports are always available: a direct WebSocket connects straight to a server, while P2P uses WebSocket only for signaling and moves game data over an encrypted WebRTC data channel.

The game opens in this page and fills the window. You can keep hosting from the Host tab at the same time — the server keeps running in the background.

Host a game

Run a server in this tab and share an invite link. Keep the tab visible while players are connected.

The host console runs on this page and streams your .rbxl or .rbxlx place into the Server runtime. Players join with a nine-digit connect code or the invite link. You can start playing while the server stays live.

Studio

The full editor runs on demand and shares the same cached runtime data as Play and Host.

Studio opens in a full window and shares the same cached runtime data as Play and Host. It is memory heavy, so close other Aya sessions before launching it.
